LA REDOUTE AND PHILIPPE GILBERT
In this space, Philippe Gilbert, the local champion, will be welcoming you in person in an original and special way!
Phil’s career will be showcased with a whole series of items from his personal collection. The bikes, outfits and trophies from his successes at Liège-Bastogne-Liège and Paris-Roubais will be prominently displayed, along with other jerseys and awards collected throughout his impressive career.
A virtual bike will accompany the greatest Walloon cyclist of our time. He will challenge you on the côte de La Redoute. This is one of the climbs, if not the decisive climb, of Liège-Bastogne-Liège, just a few hundred metres from the Maison du cyclisme.
For the less experienced or those waiting to get on the virtual bike, a helmet, also virtual, will give you the chance to experience the climb up the côte de la Redoute with Philippe Gilbert as if you were there, and in 360°, please! Philippe will comment on the steep climb.
THE PODIUM - PHOTO BOOTH
At the end of your visit to the House of Cycling, you’ll have the chance to stand on the podium and have your photo taken with your favourite champion. This exclusive souvenir will arrive in your inbox and you can share it on your social networks.
